21st Software Corp. donates game for the new Lowder Stem Cell Transplant Unit
in the Children's Health System in Alabama. This new unit, to open in September will
provide complete pediatric and adolescent stem cell transplant care, both on an inpatient
and outpatient basis.
The unit will be specializing in bone marrow transplants (one type of stem cell transplantation) for children ranging in age from newborn to 18 years of age. As with most bone marrow transplants, the donor is sometimes a sibling thus causing even more stress by having two children in the hospital at the same time.
